Social Work and Rural Development Centre (SWRDC), registered under the society’s registration act XXI of 1860, is a non-profit organization devoted to improving the welfare and living standards of various societal sections. For 33 years, our dedicated team has worked heartily to bring about a positive change in our area of operation.
Our range of programs not only focuses on immediate benefits but also strives for long-term impact. We aim to create an environment conducive to the overall development of individuals.
Our health programs aimed at mothers and children work towards improving health awareness and providing medical support. We have been successful in influencing the betterment of health indicators and the enhancement of the sex ratio in the region.
Through collaborations with universities and institutions, we run numerous programs focusing on sustainable agriculture and expansion of cultivable area. We aim towards increasing the agriculture produce and adding value to local products.
We provide vocational training in computer science, skin and beauty care, among other fields to enable self-dependence. The qualified instructors and our comprehensive curriculums ensure quality training.
As we understand the changing dynamics of modern society, we’ve established a Family Counselling Centre to assist in resolving family disputes. Our experienced counselors help in preserving and promoting individual and family life.
Ensuring welfare at the grassroots level, we work relentlessly towards the registration of self-help groups, Mahila Mandal, Youth Clubs, Societies etc. We endeavor to educate and motivate them towards the betterment of society.
Through our continuous service, we've been honored with a State Level Award for valuable services in the social sector in 2005, and an Award of Honour from President of India, Lt. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 2006, among others.
